In the English-language version of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Ufotable anime, Daymond voices Hotaru Haganezuka, the temperamental swordsmith who forges blades for the Demon Slayer Corps. Born Robert Daymond Howard on March 11, 1982, Daymond is an American performer whose output centers on video games, animation, anime, and audiobooks. In games he has voiced Spider-Man in Marvel's Spider-Man and related Marvel media, Goro Akechi in Persona 5, Hubert von Vestra in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Lloyd Bannings across the Trails series, Prompto Argentum in Final Fantasy XV, River Ward in Cyberpunk 2077, and Mike, Orbulon, and Young Cricket in WarioWare Gold. His animation work includes Tuxedo Mask in Viz Media's redub of Sailor Moon and Jesse Cosay in the second season of Infinity Train.

Beyond recording-booth work, Daymond has appeared on camera as Dorian Storm in the Dungeons & Dragons actual-play web series Critical Role and its spinoff Exandria Unlimited, broadening his profile into live tabletop performance.
