From Village Elder to Grand Elder

During Frieza's invasion of Planet Namek, Moori served as the elder of one of the Namekian villages targeted by the tyrant's forces. He witnessed the brutal murder of his villagers at the hands of Dodoria and was forced to watch helplessly as the Dragon Ball from his village was taken. Moori himself was killed during this conflict but was later revived along with the other Namekians through the Dragon Balls.

Before Guru passed away for the final time, he transferred his authority as Grand Elder to Moori, ensuring that the Namekian Dragon Balls would remain functional. This succession was critical because the Dragon Balls are tied directly to the life force of whoever holds the Grand Elder title. Moori took on this enormous responsibility and has carried it faithfully, overseeing the Namekian people on New Namek and managing the Dragon Balls through multiple crises.

Moori has appeared in several subsequent arcs, including the events surrounding Cooler's attack on New Namek and the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. As Grand Elder, he has also been responsible for enhancing the Namekian Dragon Balls' power over time, increasing Porunga's wish-granting capabilities. His quiet leadership keeps the Namekian people stable and their most powerful artifacts safe, making him one of the unsung pillars of the Dragon Ball universe's balance of power.
