Creation and Reign of Terror

Super Buu is born when Evil Buu defeats and absorbs the Good Buu by turning him into chocolate. The resulting fusion creates a taller, leaner, and far more dangerous version of Majin Buu. Where Innocent Buu was childlike and easily distracted, Super Buu possesses a sharp tactical mind and a sadistic streak. His first act upon transforming is to sense the location of Kami's Lookout and fly there, having retained memories of Piccolo telling Innocent Buu to wait for a stronger opponent.

At the Lookout, Super Buu demands to fight the promised warrior. When Piccolo stalls for time to let Goten and Trunks finish their Fusion training, Buu grows impatient and demonstrates his most terrifying ability: the Human Extinction Attack, a barrage of ki blasts that tracks down and kills every remaining human on Earth in minutes. This single act establishes Super Buu as one of the most efficient killers in Dragon Ball history.

His battle against Gotenks, the fusion of Goten and Trunks, showcases his adaptability. When Gotenks achieves Super Saiyan 3 and appears to gain the upper hand, Buu regenerates from being seemingly vaporized and ultimately absorbs both Gotenks and Piccolo, dramatically boosting his own power and intelligence.

Absorption Arc and Defeat

Super Buu's absorption abilities become his defining strategy. After absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo, he takes on elements of their appearance and gains access to their techniques. When Ultimate Gohan arrives and begins overwhelming him, Buu stalls until Gotenks' fusion timer expires, then absorbs Gohan as well. Each absorption reshapes his body and personality, making him incrementally stronger and more cunning.

The only force capable of matching the fully powered Super Buu is Vegito, the Potara fusion of Goku and Vegeta. Vegito dominates the fight effortlessly, even allowing himself to be turned into a candy (a coffee-flavored jawbreaker) and continuing to fight in that form. Vegito intentionally lets Buu absorb him in order to enter his body and rescue the absorbed fighters from within. Once Goku and Vegeta pull out Good Buu, Piccolo, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks from inside Super Buu, his power drops catastrophically.

Stripped of all his absorbed victims, Super Buu destabilizes and reverts to his original, most primal form: Kid Buu. This regression marks the end of Super Buu as a distinct entity. His intelligence and strategy are replaced by pure, mindless destruction, leading to the final confrontation that ends with Kid Buu's destruction by Goku's Spirit Bomb.
