Bulma discovers Shin's ship needs a rare Demon Realm mineral, but Hybis arrives just in time to ferry the second group. Meanwhile, Goku's party dodges the Gendarmerie again and Shin removes Panzy's tracking collar before they reach the Third Demon World's Tamagami.
Bulma diagnoses the failed launch: Shin's ship requires a specific mineral found only in the Demon Realm for its energy converter. The situation seems hopeless until Hybis arrives at the Lookout in a Demon Realm Plane, sent by King Kadan to collect them. Kibito stays behind to watch over things while Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo board the ship for their journey. In the Third Demon World, Goku's group is intercepted again by the Gendarmerie, still hunting for a spiky-haired child with a staff. Goku uses Instant Transmission to hide behind Panzy while the soldiers search the plane and find nothing.
The encounter escalates when the Gendarmerie attempts to detain Panzy, suspecting she is the masked rebel who previously attacked them. She tases one officer, triggering a full-scale skirmish. Glorio and Shin fight on the ground while aerial Gendarmerie planes strafe and heavily damage the group's borrowed ship. After defeating almost every officer, they commandeer an intact enemy plane to continue their journey.
Panzy voices her frustration over the Magic Collar that allowed the Gendarmerie to track her location. Shin deduces that Dr. Arinsu designed these tracking devices back when Dabura still ruled. Because Shin belongs to the same Glind race as Arinsu, he possesses the ability to undo her handiwork. Using a technique called Pan Paka Paan, he shatters the collar around Panzy's neck. Deeply grateful, Panzy asks for his Demon Realm name, and Shin reveals it to be Nahare, though Goku tries it once and immediately decides to stick with "Supreme Kai."
With a new pin number hacked by Peral at Kadan Castle, the group bypasses the Sir Warp and presses on toward the Third Demon World's Tamagami. They learn that Vegeta's party has also arrived in the Demon Realm, but Goku is too eager to wait. He eats a large meal and makes his final preparations before heading out to confront Tamagami Number Three, the guardian who once repelled even the mighty Dabura.
