The Battle Within

EpisodeEp. 14

With Pan trapped inside Lord Luud alongside Dolltaki and the Para Brothers, the key to defeating the giant lies in a perfectly synchronized attack from both inside and outside. Goku and Pan must strike Luud's core cell at the exact same moment to bring the Machine Mutant down.

Prison of Metal

Inside Luud's mechanical body, Pan regains her normal form and immediately takes her frustrations out on Dolltaki for the indignities she endured as his doll. Dolltaki reluctantly admits there is a way to destroy Luud from within: the entire machine was built around a single living cell, and destroying that cell would end the Machine Mutant for good.

The Para Brothers, also trapped inside after being converted to dolls earlier, force Dolltaki to reveal the full details. The catch is devastating. The cell must be struck simultaneously from inside and outside. A single attack from either direction alone will not work.

Telepathic Countdown

Outside, Goku and Trunks are being overwhelmed by the fully powered Luud. The machine now fights with precision and crushing force, a completely different beast from the clumsy giant they handled before. Goku is thrown around and struggles to find an opening.

Inside, the Para Brothers use their telepathic singing abilities to relay the battle plan to Goku and Trunks. Goku learns that a simultaneous blast to Luud's heart is the only path to victory. The challenge is timing: Pan and Goku must fire at the exact same instant with no visual contact between them.

Rhythm of Victory

Pan locates the red core cell and prepares her ki blast while Goku positions himself outside. Synchronizing their timing proves difficult at first, with several failed attempts. They settle on a rhythmic chant to count down together, and on the final beat, both fire simultaneously.

The twin blasts connect with Luud's heart from both sides. The Machine Mutant convulses, cracks spread across its massive frame, and Lord Luud explodes. Everyone who had been transformed into dolls, including Pan, Dolltaki, and the Para Brothers, is restored to normal. The Six-Star Dragon Ball is recovered, and the cult of Luud is finished.
