General Rilldo traps both Goku and Pan in metal plates and delivers them to Dr. Myuu's laboratory. Giru reveals his loyalty by freeing the Saiyans, and Trunks exposes a deeper deception, leading the group to uncover Dr. Myuu's ultimate secret creation.
The confrontation between Super Saiyan Goku and Meta-Rilldo takes a dire turn in Episode 21 when Pan arrives with the recovered Black Star Dragon Balls. Seizing the opportunity, Meta-Rilldo targets Pan, forcing Goku into a defensive position. While Goku pursues the general, Rilldo unleashes his metallic breath on the ground itself, bringing it to life and swallowing Goku whole. Both Saiyans end up sealed in metal slabs and transported to Dr. Myuu's hidden laboratory on Planet M-2.
Dr. Myuu wastes no time preparing to dissect his Saiyan captives and convert them into machine men. The situation looks grim until Giru arrives on the scene, seemingly offering to assist Dr. Myuu. In reality, the little robot has been playing a long game of deception, and he unleashes a barrage of missiles on the doctor's equipment while the villains scramble to contain the damage.
With Dr. Myuu and his minions distracted by the chaos, Giru frees Goku and Pan from their metallic prisons. The two Saiyans prepare to strike, congratulating Giru on his convincing performance. However, the brief celebration gives Dr. Myuu's robots an opening to seize Trunks, still in his metallic slab form.
Pan throws herself into a frantic game of keep-away, chasing after the robots carrying Trunks. When the machines stumble, Trunks crashes to the ground and shatters into pieces. Pan breaks down, believing she has failed to save him.
Pan's grief proves premature when Trunks calls out to her from above, very much alive. He reveals that everything, from Giru's apparent betrayal to the metallic slab that shattered, was part of a coordinated plan to infiltrate Dr. Myuu's base and force the scientist to reveal his deepest secret.
Dr. Myuu begins to tremble as Trunks, Goku, and Pan corner him and march him into another chamber. The episode closes on this suspenseful note, teasing the revelation of whatever monstrous creation Dr. Myuu has been hiding on this machine planet.
