The Three-Star Dragon

Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Nuova Shenron trade blows through the city, their clashing techniques sending vehicles flying into buildings. Nuova's fiery energy wave meets Goku's Kamehameha in a massive explosion. Though Goku has the edge in raw power, Nuova proves faster, grabbing the Saiyan before he can fire and forcing him to waste attacks on empty buildings.

Goku mixes his 10x Kamehameha charge with the Afterimage Strike to create multiple clones, but Nuova closes his eyes and uses ki sense to pinpoint the real Goku, blasting him before he can release the attack. Their fight moves into an abandoned building, where Goku uses a mirror to trick the fire dragon and finally corners him.

With Goku victorious, Nuova Shenron asks to be killed. Instead, Goku spares his life, repaying the debt from when Nuova chose not to harm Pan. Now even, the two prepare to resume their battle on equal terms. But before they can exchange attacks, a third energy wave, icy cold, appears alongside Nuova's blast and freezes Goku's right arm.

Eis Shenron reveals himself atop a nearby building. He is the Three-Star Dragon and Nuova's brother. Holding up Pan's backpack, Eis shows that he stole the collected Dragon Balls and attacked Pan during Goku's fight. Goku flies down to find his injured granddaughter staggering in the streets below. She apologizes for losing the Dragon Balls before collapsing.

Eis Shenron freezes Goku's limbs one by one with his Ice Rays, starting with his arms while berating Nuova for being soft. Nuova tells his brother not to interfere, insisting he can win alone and that honor is his code. Even after losing his arms, Goku fights effectively with kicks alone, so Eis freezes his legs and eventually encases his entire body in ice.

Eis orders Nuova to deliver the killing blow. Instead, Nuova uses his Nova Star technique to melt the ice from Goku's body, freeing him completely. The fire dragon's loyalty to fair combat trumps fraternal obligation. Goku, furious at Eis's cowardly tactics, declares that he will defeat the ice dragon in five seconds.
