Lane Pianta is an American voice actor working with Funimation who voiced Raditz in early Dragon Ball Z dubs and appeared in multiple Dragon Ball series as various supporting and crowd characters across all three original sagas.
Lane Pianta contributed his voice to the Dragon Ball franchise across three main series. He originally voiced Raditz, the powerful Saiyan warrior and father of Gohan, in early Dragon Ball Z episodes, and subsequently provided numerous additional voices and crowd characters throughout Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. His extensive work populating scenes across all three shows made him a consistent presence in the Funimation dub throughout the franchise's original English localization period.
Pianta has worked with Funimation for many years, contributing to numerous productions beyond Dragon Ball. His character voices and crowd work in Dragon Ball Z and its sequels represent some of his most recognizable roles for English-speaking fans, having appeared in episodes spanning from the Saiyan saga through the final episodes of Dragon Ball GT, making him one of the dub's recurring voice talents.
