The Final Punch Before Defusion

Savage Strike is an energy punch technique belonging to Vegito in his Super Saiyan Blue form. The user teleports above the opponent via Instant Transmission, wraps their fist in dense blue ki, and delivers a crushing downward blow. It can also be performed as a straight horizontal punch to send opponents flying, functioning as a more versatile cousin of Goku's Super God Fist.

Vegito's Last Hurrah Against Zamasu

The technique sees its most dramatic use at the climax of Vegito's battle with Fused Zamasu. After unloading a God Final Kamehameha that Zamasu survives, Vegito teleports directly above the damaged fusion and winds up the Savage Strike. The punch connects with devastating force, telling Zamasu to "be perfect in Hell" as the fist drives downward. But immediately after the blow lands, Vegito's body splits back into Goku and Vegeta, the enormous power expenditure having burned through the Potara fusion's time limit.

Vegeta later uses the technique himself in his Super Saiyan God SS Evolved form during the Tournament of Power. His Savage Strike against God of Destruction Mode Top is powerful enough to break through Top's Energy of Destruction, demonstrating that the move translates well beyond its original fusion user.

Game Versatility

In Xenoverse 2, Savage Strike is one of SSGSS Vegito's Super Skills with an unusual dual-mode design. A basic input delivers a forward punch, while an additional directional input triggers the Instant Transmission teleport for the aerial downward version. If the forward punch sends the opponent flying, the user automatically teleports to pursue with a dashing energy punch. This makes it one of the more technically rich Super Skills in the game.

FighterZ and Dokkan Battle both feature the technique under the name "Omega Finishing Blow." In Sparking! Zero, the move incorporates a Spirit Stab that skewers the opponent before tossing them up into the final punch.
