Ultra Supervillain is the most powerful dark enhancement in the Xenoverse timeline, developed by Fu as a successor to his mother Towa's Supervillain form. It features two stages, with the Second Stage embedding a Demon Realm Crystal in the user's chest and granting power that can surpass even Gods of Destruction.
Fu, the brilliant and morally ambiguous scientist born from the union of Towa and Mira, designed Ultra Supervillain as the next step beyond his mother's work. Where Towa's Supervillain form drained life force in exchange for power, Fu's version channels the energy of Demon Realm Crystals as an external power source, creating a transformation that can achieve even greater heights without the same biological limitations.
Fu first tested the enhancement on Broly during the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 1 DLC content in Xenoverse 2. Even in just the First Stage, the empowered Broly proved far more dangerous than his standard self, overwhelming the Dragon Team before even accessing his Legendary Super Saiyan form. The Supreme Kai of Time expressed concern that this version of Broly might be the strongest incarnation of the berserker across all timelines. Despite this terrifying assessment, the combined efforts of the Time Patroller and their allies, channeling their energy into a single Miracle Blow, proved sufficient to destroy him.
Fu subsequently applied the First Stage to Goku Black, granting him Super Saiyan Rose alongside the Ultra Supervillain enhancement. The combined power was extraordinary enough that Black unintentionally tore open three temporal rifts simultaneously, pulling alternate versions of Hit, Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba into the altered timeline. Even after these Universe 6 warriors were freed from Black's brainwashing, the corrupted deity proved strong enough to fight all of them plus the Future Warrior and a body-swapped Goku before eventually being overwhelmed.
In another experiment, Fu granted the First Stage to a version of Vegeta who had become the Super Saiyan God of his timeline instead of Goku. The dark power corrupted Vegeta's psyche, turning him against his allies. When Fu dragged the same timeline's Goku into the fight, Vegeta immediately targeted him for elimination. However, Vegeta's willpower ultimately proved strong enough to shatter the enhancement on his own after Goku matched him as a fellow Super Saiyan God, marking one of the rare instances where a target broke free without external intervention.
The Second Stage represents a far more invasive level of enhancement. The Demon Realm Crystal physically embeds itself in the left side of the user's chest, serving as both a power amplifier and a control anchor. The user's body takes on a partially blackened appearance, their eyes shift to an unusual pink texture, and dark red electrical discharges arc through their aura. The psychological effects are severe: users in the Second Stage lose their sense of justice, morality, and personal identity, becoming pure instruments of destruction.
This was demonstrated most dramatically through Jiren. After being brought to his Full Power state alongside the Second Stage of Ultra Supervillain, the Pride Trooper abandoned everything that defined him. He declared that Toppo and Dyspo were unworthy of even speaking his name, and his "might makes right" philosophy was warped to its most extreme conclusion. Fu stated outright that this version of Jiren exceeded God of Destruction level power. It took the combined efforts of Beerus, Champa, Belmod, Toppo, Dyspo, the Future Warrior, and Goku awakening Perfected Ultra Instinct to finally bring him down. Goku freed Jiren by destroying the crystal embedded in his chest, which immediately broke the transformation and restored the warrior's true personality.
Frieza's encounter with the Second Stage in the FUTURE SAGA Chapter 3 DLC proved unique among all Ultra Supervillain users. Unlike previous targets who succumbed to the corruption's mental influence, Frieza adapted to the crystal's power and began experimenting with it on his own terms, even using it to brainwash Broly (DBS) and later corrupting Shenron himself. This adaptability allowed Frieza to pursue his own agenda rather than serving as Fu's pawn, culminating in an attempt to seize the Power of Time by forcing the corrupted Eternal Dragon to grant his wish. Though Frieza ultimately failed when Chronoa overpowered him and Fu betrayed him by absorbing his remaining energy, his ability to resist the transformation's mental domination while exploiting its physical benefits set him apart from every other user.
