Brown so dark it passes for black, his hair erupts in every direction around his head as a teenager, not far off how Izuku Midoriya's behaves, with low bangs hanging over loose diamond-shaped eyes of warm brown. A smile is usually in place, though whether it reads as nice or sinister depends entirely on the moment. He is tall and muscular at 176 centimeters. Sometime after graduating he cropped the hair short, swept it upward, and dyed the front section dark green, growing taller and noticeably more mature along the way.

His student costume paired a gold jaw-guard across the cheeks, engineered to steady and shield his skull against the vibrations his own Quirk sends through it, with thick green shoulder straps feeding into a short black jacket trimmed in gold, black elbow pads, green wrist-guards, and baggy black trousers marked with small green details and drawstrings. Plain black boots on gray soles finish it. The pro version brings in a black long-sleeved shirt cut above the abdomen, dark gray chest armor trimmed green, metal shoulder straps, black pants, and a brown utility belt.

The warmth is a tool. On first meeting he seems courteous and generous, quick to assume the best of people and to credit them with strong hearts, and every bit of that is manufactured so opponents relax. What sits underneath is sly and calculating, capable of flipping in an instant, which tends to happen when his temper goes.

He prefers the word tactful. Leadership comes to him naturally, strategy comes easily, and chaos does not rattle him into acting stupidly. He competes hard and genuinely respects the effort his rivals put in, which has never once stopped him from finding a weakness and using it.

Vibrate makes anything he touches shudder, and applied to the ground it produces real earthquakes, though the aftershocks can leave him unable to move. Years of that trembling have built him a natural resistance to vibration, giving him a small edge against wave-based Quirks such as Orcinus. Tremoring Earth is the maximum-power version: both hands on the ground, the surface shattered outright.

That toolkit puts him near the top of Ketsubutsu Academy's roster. Quakes break enemy formations and rob opponents of their footing, which pays off most when he and his allies are outnumbered, and he backs it with a stubbornness that lets him face people who plainly outclass him. In the exam's opening phase he split the Class 1-A students apart single-handedly. In the second he swept aside Gang Orca's Sidekicks in bulk, then lined himself up to take the pro directly, planning to lean on his vibration resistance, only for Gang Orca to immobilize him before he could do anything about it. His final year brought his first serious villain encounter: the jailbroken Muscular, who dominated him thoroughly, though his full power pressured the villain into thickening his muscle armor, and the sustained shaking quietly unraveled Muscular's tendons, weakening him enough for the newly arrived Izuku to finish. A large knife rides on his belt, first drawn against Muscular.
