Chapter 1011: The Code of Anko

As Kid and Killer try to break free of Big Mom, she calls up her newest homie, Hera, a creature that appears made entirely of lightning, and fires off an attack named Fulgora that drives the pair into the castle's side. Zeus, still calling out for his master, finds himself loose from the metal box that held him, and Law concludes something must have befallen Kid. While Zeus darts away to track Big Mom, Law uses his Devil Fruit to warp down into the castle, taking Zoro and Zeus with him from the rooftop. Once they are gone, Kaidou stands with a grin and tells Luffy he plainly enjoys this duel, the greater the danger the broader his smile, and the two crash together with Supreme King Haki running through their attacks.

Inside again, Kid and Killer cannot locate Big Mom, and Killer figures the hole she punched was so wide she lost their trail, putting her on the second floor. As they move to head her off before she rejoins Kaidou, the Beasts Pirates under Basil Hawkins block them with Warabide-to. Kid spits at the betrayal, but Hawkins counters that Apoo turned on him first and that siding with Kaidou was the sole path that spared his life. Killer urges Kid onward alone and stays behind as Hawkins shifts into his Goma no So shape, pegging Killer's odds of death at ninety-two percent. Killer rejects the very notion of luck, insisting his crew carves out its own fate rather than leaving things to chance.

A floor up, Page One clamps onto Komachiyo's spine as Nami and Usopp strike at his weak points to pry him loose. Tama tells the beast to hold firm, explaining that on reaching the Live Floor's main stage she can issue orders to every SMILE eater Speed fed her kibi dango, turning them into allies, and that she will press on whatever becomes of her after that.

Usopp drives Page One off with Midori Boshi: Hanabibana and follows up with Baku Bokkuri, yet the All-Star endures and rises once more. As Usopp grumbles that Tama's power has no effect on natural Zoans, Big Mom crosses their path. When Tama recognizes her and calls her O-Lin, Big Mom slips into what Prometheus dubs her "Mothering Mode," forgetting the Straw Hats to speak fondly with the child. She thanks Tama for her care during the amnesia and recalls the oshiruko Tsuru gave her in Okobore Town. Tama's face falls as she reveals the town was burned down and its people punished for shielding the samurai. Furious, Big Mom rejects Page One's order to seize the enemies, calls the Beasts Pirates standardless ingrates, and rams a Supreme King Haki fist into Page One's throat as Ulti watches aghast and Kid and Zeus trace the commotion to her location.

The chapter is part of the Wano Country Arc. Big Mom forms the lightning homie Hera through her Soru Soru no Mi, Zeus tears free of his containment to seek her out, and from the roof Law warps away with both Zoro and Zeus. Usopp establishes that the Kibi Kibi no Mi wielded by Tama holds no sway over natural, non-SMILE Zoans. The color spread shows the Straw Hats eating soft serve, with a giant-sized Nami behind them.
