This installment marks the princess Mansherry's first proper appearance. Her Devil Fruit power proves to be the Chiyu Chiyu no Mi, granting tears that can mend any injury, and the chapter confirms she had already used that gift on Sugar once before. Giolla intends to wring those healing tears out of her to bring back the fallen Machvise, Lao G, Sugar, and Dellinger, gambling that a surprise resurrection will swing the battle her way. Mansherry sees through Doflamingo's manipulation and refuses, so Giolla squeezes and then slaps the crying girl until enough drops fall. Guided by Viola, Leo and Kabu cut through the soldiers and reach the room; Kabu launches the knocked-out officers clear with a Beetle Upper just as the tears land, and Leo finishes Giolla by stitching her and her own grunts into one sewn-together heap with his Nui Nui no Mi.

The cover page advances the Jinbe side-story, this time with the sea knight scolding the sea god. With Giolla beaten and the princess safe, the rescue counts as a success. Mansherry instantly swoons over Leo, calling him a prince and blushing as he catches her, but the moment dies when the clueless captain asks whether she has put on weight and takes a punch for it. Kabu remarks that she has not changed a bit.
