Standing notably tall for a girl of her years, Marguerite carries a slim, athletic build with legs that draw the eye. Her blond hair is cropped short and left messy. In keeping with Kuja custom, her outfit is built from animal hide, a brief top and short skirt that leave plenty exposed, finished with a pale cape cut to echo a Marine coat. A black-and-green serpent usually coils at her waist, and she favors a striped stocking on one leg paired with heeled boots.

Raised on an island where men are banned, Marguerite reacts to Luffy with wide-eyed curiosity rather than fear, taking his offhand remarks at face value and even quizzing him about his anatomy out of pure innocence. She initially writes men off as pointless, yet she confesses that lingering near Luffy risks growing attached, so she draws a weapon on him to break the spell. Honesty defines her; she tried to shoulder the entire blame for sheltering him. Her moral streak runs deep enough that she refuses to strike a child even when that child, the Seraphim S-Snake, turns on her. She holds her empress Boa Hancock in worshipful regard and bears no resentment for being petrified.

Marguerite proves a gifted tailor, recreating Luffy's ruined clothes down to added flowers and frills. She swims well, diving into Calm Belt waters thick with Sea Kings to pull him from drowning. Her acceptance aboard the Kuja Pirates marks her as one of the tribe's stronger fighters, since only its best may sail. She wields Armament Haki, channeling it into arrows fired from her snake, which can morph into a bow. Hardened in this way her shafts punch clean through tree trunks, though she does not realize the same power can blunt Devil Fruit abilities. A dagger serves her when she needs to threaten at close range.
