Red Ribbon Army Service

Colonel Violet operates as a field agent for the Red Ribbon Army, tasked with retrieving Dragon Balls from dangerous locations. She demonstrates considerable competence in this role, navigating treacherous environments including crocodile-infested waters and ancient ruins. Unlike many Red Ribbon officers who rely on brute force, Violet uses intelligence and agility to accomplish her missions.

When it becomes clear that the Red Ribbon Army is doomed following Goku's assault on their headquarters, Violet wastes no time looking out for herself. Rather than fighting or dying for Commander Red's cause, she raids the army's treasury, stealing as much money as she can carry before fleeing the base. This opportunistic escape highlights her pragmatic nature and separates her from the blind loyalty shown by other officers.

Colonel Violet is an anime-only character in terms of her major scenes, with only brief manga appearances. She stands out as one of the few Red Ribbon officers who survives the organization's destruction, largely because she prioritized self-preservation over duty.
