Bojack Unbound

Kogu, known as Gokua in the Japanese version, is one of four warriors who serve under Bojack as part of the Galaxy Soldiers. His race, the Hera Clan, was sealed away by the Kais after causing widespread destruction across the galaxy. They are freed when King Kai's planet is destroyed during the Cell Games.

In the film, Kogu and the other Galaxy Soldiers infiltrate a martial arts tournament organized by a wealthy sponsor. Kogu disguises himself as one of the competitors and confronts Future Trunks during the battle royale portion of the event. He wields a sword and proves to be a skilled combatant.

Kogu manages to land several attacks on Trunks and even breaks his sword. However, when Trunks transforms into a Super Saiyan, the power gap becomes clear. Trunks strikes Kogu with a single powerful punch that defeats him decisively. His defeat is one of the earliest signs that the Galaxy Soldiers, while strong, are outmatched by the Z Fighters at their full power.
