Role in the Story
Valese appears early in Dragon Ball GT as Goten's new girlfriend. She is a cheerful, somewhat sheltered young woman from a wealthy household. Despite her privileged background, Valese is naive about many everyday experiences, such as eating ice cream, due to her strict upbringing.
What makes Valese stand out is her complete acceptance of Goten's extraordinary powers. She watches him fly and transform without batting an eye, suggesting she has grown accustomed to the Saiyan lifestyle. During the Baby Saga, Valese falls under Baby's mind control along with most of Earth's population. After Baby is defeated and the parasitic Tuffle is removed, Valese returns to normal and continues her relationship with Goten.
