While the audience showers Rebecca with insults, Cavendish gallops in atop Farul, his steed, and quiets them with a speech: those who will not stake their lives in the ring have no standing to belittle a woman who does. The mood flips and the crowd starts cheering him instead, though he reminds Rebecca that the moment the bell sounds, the two of them are enemies. With one hundred thirty-seven entrants gathered, the D Block free-for-all begins.

At the Flower Field hideout, Leo and the Thunder Soldier fire up their long-prepared force for the coming war as Usopp listens only to plot his retreat. In Acacia, Zoro crosses paths with Sanji and Kin'emon again, and Violet warns that the Sunny has already been dragged off toward Green Bit.

On the deformed Sunny, Brook plays along with Giolla's love of art to lure her into restoring his sword and violin, then drops her with one clean cut, shattering the spell and releasing the crew. At Green Bit, a victorious Doflamingo tells a defeated Law how the twenty founding kings forged the World Government, then reveals that before the Riku, Dressrosa's original rulers were the Donquixote Family.

Cavendish calls out the crowd's mistreatment of Rebecca and is shown to keep a steed by the name of Farul. The fighting in D Block gets underway. Every Green Bit dwarf has converged on the Riku Royal Army base, and Wicca is stated to be twenty-seven. Zoro is back together with Kin'emon and Sanji, and Pica is identified as the figure seated in Doflamingo's Spade chair.

Brook deceives and beats Giolla, ending the Ato Ato no Mi's hold. With Issho's help, Doflamingo has overcome Law and seems to hold Caesar's heart. He explains that both the Donquixote and Nefertari lines sat among the twenty royal houses that founded the government, that every family except the Nefertari relocated to Mary Geoise, and that the Donquixote ruled Dressrosa before the Riku were picked to replace them.

The cover carries on the Caribou storyline as he wrecks a factory on Kaidou's island. Giolla dubs her deadly mural Dying Art and claims those caught inside it will cease breathing within ten minutes, which sharpens the danger behind Brook's bluff.
