Videl

Videl grew up as the daughter of Hercule Satan, the man the world believed had defeated Cell. She inherited her father's fighting spirit and became a highly capable martial artist, using her skills to fight crime in Satan City alongside the local police. When the mysterious "Great Saiyaman" appeared, Videl became obsessed with uncovering his identity, eventually discovering that he was her classmate Gohan.

After learning the truth about ki and the real events of the Cell Games, Videl convinced Gohan to teach her how to fly and use energy. She entered the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, where she fought bravely against Spopovich but was brutally beaten in a one-sided match. This encounter marked a turning point; the Spopovich fight exposed the gap between ordinary martial arts and the supernatural power levels that defined the series' upper tiers.

During the Buu Saga, Videl participated in efforts to resist Babidi and Majin Buu, though her role became more supportive as the power scale escalated beyond her reach. By the end of the series and into Dragon Ball Super, Videl had settled into family life with Gohan and their daughter Pan. She continued to train casually but prioritized her role as a mother.

Before learning about ki, Videl was already one of Earth's most skilled hand-to-hand fighters. She could defeat armed criminals with ease and possessed strength, speed, and reflexes that far exceeded normal human levels. After Gohan taught her energy control, she gained the ability to fly and sense ki, putting her above most Earthlings in raw capability.
