Goku vs. Ledgic

EpisodeEp. 5

Fed up with Don Kee's oppression of Imecka's citizens, Goku, Trunks, and Pan surrender to the police on purpose so they can confront the tyrant directly. After Trunks falls to Don Kee's bodyguard Ledgic, Goku taps into Super Saiyan power for the first time in GT to settle the fight.

Surrendering to Fight

While on the run, the trio encounters more Imeckian citizens suffering under Don Kee's crushing taxes. Moved by their plight, Goku, Trunks, and Pan abandon their plan to simply flee the planet. Instead they decide to confront the tyrant head-on and willingly turn themselves in to the authorities.

The police escort them straight to the Royal Palace, which is exactly what the Saiyans wanted. They tear through Don Kee's lieutenants Gale and Sheela with minimal effort, clearing a path to the throne room. Victory seems certain until a far more dangerous figure steps out of the shadows.

The Bodyguard Strikes

Ledgic, Don Kee's elite bodyguard and a warrior of considerable skill, reveals himself. Trunks charges in first but is swatted aside with a single blow. The gap in power is immediately apparent. Goku orders Trunks to look after Pan while he handles Ledgic personally.

The battle between Goku and Ledgic is fierce, and Ledgic quickly proves he is no ordinary fighter. His combat instincts and raw power give him a clear edge over Goku's base form, pushing the young Saiyan to his limits.

Golden Farewell

With no other option, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan for the first time since becoming a child. The surge of golden energy overwhelms Ledgic, and Goku claims victory. Rather than finishing his opponent off, Goku encourages Ledgic to keep training and grow stronger.

Impressed by the unusual child before him, Ledgic abandons Don Kee's service and departs to seek greater challenges. Imecka is freed from oppression, and Goku, Trunks, and Pan leave the planet with their mysterious robot companion, resuming the hunt for the Black Star Dragon Balls across the cosmos.
