Aramaki

Standing past three meters, Aramaki is a heavily muscled giant who rivals fellow admiral Fujitora in sheer scale. He purposely goes shirtless, putting on full display the big green kanji inked down the left of his chest, its characters tied to a grim phrase about a death-river double suicide. Shaggy, untamed dark-green hair falls to his neck, framing a prominent nose, full lips, a light goatee, and sideburns, and a cigarette is often seen between his teeth.

His wardrobe leans hard into the color motif behind his alias. Black trousers, scattered with small light and dark green floral shapes down the left leg and torn along the right, meet mismatched footwear, one shoe pale green and the other black. Dark sunglasses cover his eyes, and the standard admiral's coat hangs cape-style across his bare back, finished with the usual gold epaulettes and green turned-up cuffs. Unlike any other admiral, the lining of that coat is green instead of white.

Loose, blunt, and crude, Aramaki speaks his mind freely, joking around with people he likes yet pouring open contempt on anyone he counts an enemy. He idolizes Fleet Admiral Sakazuki and chases his approval, pushing an even more extreme reading of justice that he dubs Determined Justice. His devotion to the World Government outstrips that of his peers, since he sincerely regards the Celestial Dragons as divine and insists society works best under a strict pecking order, where those on top may abuse those beneath them however they wish. By that logic he treats any measure against outsiders, up to outright extermination, as wholly justified, and he nurses a personal grudge against Monkey D. Luffy for plunging the established order into chaos.

Loyal though he is, Aramaki is fiercely self-willed and will ignore or flatly defy direct orders to chase what he wants. He chatted with Fujitora rather than evicting him as Sakazuki commanded, and he later flew into Wano against the Fleet Admiral's instructions, even summoning his own warship, all to hunt Luffy and win his superior's favor. Pressed about it, he gives vague answers and tells subordinates to stay quiet, exposing him as a hypocrite who carves out exemptions for himself while preaching obedience. In combat he is merciless and arrogant, taunting foes he beats easily and striking the wounded without pause. Lazy and hedonistic, he has gone three years without food because eating feels like a chore, sustaining himself instead through his fruit, enjoys the company of beautiful women, and laughs in his own way with a "Rahaha."

As an admiral, Aramaki answers only to the Fleet Admiral and holds authority over all lower ranks, free to direct fleets, shape strategy, and trigger a Buster Call at will. He and the other admirals make up the World Government's greatest fighting force, and Doflamingo once called both him and Fujitora monsters among the Marines. His reputation for strength dated back to his policing days, before the World Military Draft pulled him into Marine service. In Wano he tore through the Beasts Pirates, dropping the still-recovering All-Stars King and Queen along with their guards, held his ground against a band of Red Scabbards plus Momonosuke, shrugged off a Conqueror's Haki strike from Yamato, and elsewhere captured the former Warlord Edward Weevil with ease. Only the distant burst of Shanks' Supreme King Haki forced him to withdraw from Wano.

His power flows from the Mori Mori no Mi, a Logia fruit that lets him create, command, and become plant life. He sprouts trees and vines at incredible speed, sharpens his fingers into impaling branches across an entire battlefield, and regrows his whole body from a sapling once it is destroyed. The plants he conjures drain liquid on contact, shriveling impaled victims into dried husks, and he can even taste what he soaks up. He pulls off stranger feats too, such as spinning a giant flower on his back like a propeller to take flight, and greenery springs up wherever he walks. Photosynthesis and absorbed water let him endure his long fast. Rounding this out are skilled Armament and Observation Haki plus a tsuba-less katana carried at his hip.
