Vito

Vito stands tall, his most striking feature a long, snakelike tongue that curls out of a perpetual grin. His hands run oversized for his frame and bear a tattoo on the back matching one on his forehead. His black hair is combed back, curling up at the rear, and the anime gives him notably pale skin.

Following crew fashion, he wears a magenta suit with a yellow cravat and a black feather collared coat slung over his shoulders, his eyes shaded by small round sunglasses. Holsters at his sides carry the pair of large revolvers, his namesake Monster Guns.

Respectful toward his superiors, Vito makes a point of warning others about the dangerous people they face. He acknowledges that his bosses act cruelly and selfishly, and he shows a measured sympathy for those they harm, as when he softened the blow of Sanji's forced marriage by handing over a photo of the bride. Talkative to a fault, he trails after people even when his company is unwelcome, and his tongue and mannerisms tend to unsettle them.

An ardent admirer of Germa 66, he gushes about the group and treats its members with reverence. He also proves compassionate, ambushing Bobbin to help Sanji despite earlier rudeness and explaining the consequences of refusing Big Mom's tea party so the cook could choose wisely. He ends sentences with the licking sound rero and laughs with his own distinctive Nyororo.

As the crew's advisor, Vito carries authority among the Fire Tank Pirates and commands their respect. He is physically strong enough to seize Nami and Chopper, the latter in Kung Fu Point, and drag them off by their heads without resistance, and his will held firm against Big Mom's Conqueror's Haki. After the failed assassination he outpaced the pursuing Big Mom Pirates with ease.

He excels at stealth and ambush, taking down the powerful Bobbin by surprise, and his marksmanship is sharp, dropping that same heavyweight cleanly. Bege trusted him alongside Gotti to fire a KX Launcher at Big Mom. His weapons are a pair of large dark revolvers suited to his big hands, the source of his Monster Gun epithet.
