Biography and Story Role
Pilina is one of two Namekian warriors selected to fight for Universe 6 in the Tournament of Power. Along with his partner Saonel, Pilina represents the Namekian race from Universe 6, which differs from Universe 7's Namekians in several ways.
What makes Pilina and Saonel extraordinary is that both had assimilated with numerous other Namekians from their universe before the tournament, vastly increasing their power. This mass fusion gave them strength far beyond what a single Namekian could achieve, making them formidable opponents even by Tournament of Power standards.
During the tournament, Pilina and Saonel primarily battle against Gohan and Piccolo. The two pairs engage in an extended fight, with Pilina demonstrating powerful energy attacks and the ability to regenerate. Ultimately, Gohan and Piccolo work together to overpower and eliminate both Universe 6 Namekians from the arena, securing an important victory for Universe 7.
