Destruction Cannon Blasts! Lucy in Trouble

Gatz reels as the favored Hajrudin falls, and the crowd erupts for Lucy. As Luffy drags the knocked-out Ucy to a safe corner, Cavendish shrugs off his power while Bartolomeo relishes the spectacle, and Rebecca is left stunned by Lucy's strength. Ideo strolls up to the felled giant, sneers that a ring is no spot for a nap, and hurls Hajrudin's enormous frame into the stands with one bursting punch, scattering the spectators before the body splashes into the sea. Nicknamed the Destroyer Cannon, Ideo bowls over further contenders while declaring the Mera Mera no Mi will make him stronger yet.

Gatz next turns to a trio out of Kano Country, praising them as celebrated kenpo practitioners. Sai smashes a foe's shield and helmet, then earns his billing as the thirteenth Happo Navy leader, with Boo presented as the navy's deputy. Boxed in by a ring of fighters, the retired twelfth leader Chinjao clasps his palms and drops several at once with Supreme King Haki, awing the crowd before warning the rest to keep away since a single target concerns him.

Positioned just before Chinjao, Jean Ango gathers the weapons of downed gladiators and thanks him for the supply, soon named Jean the Robber, a bounty hunter. When a man rushes him over a partner sent to prison, Ango calls himself a sniper whose collected arms serve as his bullets, drives a blade clean through the charging fighter, and coldly suggests he raid the jail as someone did two years back. Nearby, Kelly Funk beats a long-unconscious foe to the crowd's disgust, while his brother Bobby keeps seizing the wrong person in his effort to stop him. Coming from the Mogaro Kingdom, the pair are billed as killers said to have handled pirates whose bounties topped one hundred million Beli.

Boo drops Kelly with a lone jab to the chin, then rounds on a petrified Bobby, whose Busoshoku-hardened axe splinters against his body. Bobby tells his brother to put it on, and an enlarged, seething figure in Bobby's hat suddenly hammers Boo unconscious, leaving Gatz unsure which sibling is landing the blows. Elsewhere, Jean Ango lifts Luffy's helmet, forcing him to shroud his face and hat, and spreads word that the masked entrant is Monkey D. Luffy himself. Looking off to one side, Luffy sees Chinjao mowing through fighters to reach him, as Gatz counts roughly forty entrants still standing.

The anime folds in a clash between Luffy and Ideo and has Zoro step away from Wicca for a stretch. It also cuts to Fujitora, Doflamingo, and Law as they abandon the shore in the south and dash into the woods, with Doflamingo unleashing his Tamaito move far earlier than the manga did. Chinjao is shown with bloodied hands while channeling Supreme King Haki. Instead of Jean Ango simply grabbing the helmet, Luffy's collision with Ideo knocks it loose and Jean picks it up. Aremo Ganmi's design returns to her Episode 637 look, which closely mirrors the manga. The episode adapts Chapter 715.
