High School Life

Erasa is among the first students to interact with Gohan on his first day at Orange Star High School. She immediately befriends the awkward newcomer, sitting next to him in class and introducing him to her social circle. Her open and friendly nature helps ease Gohan's difficult transition from isolated home schooling to public education.

As a close friend of Videl, Erasa is present for many of the Great Saiyaman Saga's comedic moments. She is aware that Gohan is hiding something about his abilities but does not press the issue with the same intensity that Videl does. Her easygoing personality makes her a reliable source of comic relief during the high school segments of the Buu Saga.

Erasa's role diminishes after the World Tournament Saga begins, and she has no involvement in the battles against Majin Buu. She represents the normal, everyday world that Gohan briefly gets to experience before being pulled back into the cycle of world-threatening conflicts that define his life.
