Cosmic-Scale Threat

Infinite Zamasu emerges when Fused Zamasu's body is destroyed by Trunks but his will refuses to perish. Because of his immortality (inherited from Future Zamasu's wish), his essence survives the destruction of his physical form and begins to spread. His face appears in the sky, then multiplies across the entire planet, and eventually begins expanding into the cosmos itself.

This transformation represents a threat unlike any previously encountered in Dragon Ball. Rather than a single powerful opponent who can be overpowered or outsmarted, Infinite Zamasu becomes a fundamental corruption of reality. His consciousness infects the universe like a virus, making traditional combat completely useless. No amount of power from any mortal or god can address an enemy that has literally become part of the spacetime fabric.

The only solution comes when Goku summons Future Zeno using the button given to him by the present-day Zeno. Future Zeno, upon observing the corruption, simply erases the entire future timeline, destroying Infinite Zamasu along with everything else in that reality. This drastic measure highlights just how dangerous Infinite Zamasu had become: the literal destruction of an entire timeline was the minimum force required to stop him.
