A more powerful evolution of the Gigantic Breath, fired by DBS Broly in his full Legendary Super Saiyan form. The beam is so intense that even Broly himself gets pushed backward from the recoil.
The Gigantic Roar operates on the same principle as its predecessor, the Gigantic Breath, but dialed up to extreme levels. After letting out a primal scream, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly wildly whips his head and unleashes a massive stream of fiery green ki from his mouth. The beam's power is so tremendous that Broly's own body gets forced backward by the recoil, a detail that communicates just how much energy is being expelled.
The visual presentation emphasizes Broly's loss of control. Unlike the more focused Gigantic Breath, the Gigantic Roar comes across as barely contained, with Broly swinging his head erratically as the beam sprays across the battlefield.
In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the Gigantic Roar is fired directly at Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta during their final confrontation. Gogeta's response is one of the coolest moments in the film. Instead of trying to block or counter the beam, Gogeta leaps over it entirely while simultaneously charging his own attack. He flips through the air, lands behind the still-firing Broly, and blasts him point-blank with the God Punisher. The sequence perfectly contrasts Broly's overwhelming brute force with Gogeta's calculated precision.
The Gigantic Roar debuts in Xenoverse 2's Extra Pack 4 DLC as Broly (Full Power Super Saiyan)'s Ultimate Skill. In FighterZ, it serves as Broly (DBS)'s Super Attack with a particularly dramatic presentation. During the initial blast, the energy obscures Broly entirely, showing only a monstrous beast-like shadow behind the beam. If the attack connects, it also permanently destroys Broly's armor for the rest of the match, giving him a slight attack power buff.
In Sparking! Zero, it appears as part of the Gigantic Catastrophe ultimate attack, where Broly follows the Roar with a series of swirling energy bullets from his hand. Dragon Ball Legends names it Gigantic Force.
