Appearance

For most of his existence Zeus drifts about as a big, pale cloud, and a yellow-brimmed baseball cap striped in red and blue tops him off. His default look is sleepy and untroubled, yet that face can sour into something genuinely sinister. Whenever he brews a storm, his color deepens and electricity snaps off him, drawn pink while Big Mom held his reins and yellow once Nami did. Brook's sword split him down the middle on one occasion, and after Nami pulled the charge out of him, what remained was small enough to fit in a palm, the face stretched across nearly the whole of his diminished form. He wore a blue kabuto among the Straw Hats during the strike on Onigashima.

Bonded to the Sorcery Clima-Tact, his blushing, vacant grin can surface partway up the hilt, slide onto the orange tips when he stretches them out, or scatter into whatever weather the staff produces. Habit still pulls him back to his cloud shape most of the time.

Personality

Devoted to Big Mom as one of her weapons, Zeus answered every summons, though he also worried over the citizens of Totto Land and loathed seeing them battered during her fits. Unlike the other homies, he grasped that pleading with her mid-rampage achieved nothing. From her he inherited a monstrous appetite, with thunderclouds his favorite meal, and that hunger ran deep enough to make him defy her commands so long as Nami kept the snacks coming. When survival was on the line, his loyalty bent: facing Hera's jaws, he asked only to be released in peace rather than give up his soul power, and he ultimately turned on his creator outright. Relaxed and unbothered by temperament, he slipped comfortably into life tucked inside Nami's Clima-Tact, first as servant and afterward as partner.

Abilities

Shaped from a portion of Big Mom's own soul, Zeus stands well above the run of ordinary homies, and that origin grants him enough willpower to shake off the soul projection wielded by the Yomi Yomi no Mi. In cloud form he takes flight, calls down ordinary and sweet rain, and lets loose lightning fierce enough to drop Vinsmoke Judge in one strike. Paired with Prometheus, the two cook up colossal, ruinous thunderstorms. Blows pass clean through his intangible body, Armament Haki included, because he simply knits himself back together, yet emptying his charge in a big burst shrinks him until he refuels on electricity, and an opposing current that fuses with his can wring his power out of him against his will. He can also firm up into a dense perch to seat Big Mom and haul passengers at great speed. Once welded into the Clima-Tact, he learned to bend its tips into shapes like a mace and to pour himself into Nami's conjured weather, though he picked up fresh vulnerabilities: a solid body that perishes if the staff snaps, and poor mobility on his own.

Those powers feed a sizable arsenal of named moves. Under Big Mom he underpinned Raitei, Indra, the self-steering lightning barrage Tenman Daijizai Tenjin, and the joint fire-and-lightning Heavenly Feuer Blitz with Prometheus. Serving Nami, he drives Zeus Breeze Tempo, Ninpo: Raitei, Grow Up, Thunder Shark Tempo, and Pouring Rain Tempo.

A young Linlin made him generations ago, and he rode at her side through Rocks Pirates raids and the God Valley Incident, serving alongside Prometheus and Napoleon into her later years. While the Straw Hats fled Totto Land, Nami's thunderclouds lured him into treachery, and once Brook halved him, the weakened cloud was strong-armed into becoming her servant within the Clima-Tact. Big Mom seized him back in Wano, but after she cast him off for the new homie Hera and moved to draw out her soul fragment, Zeus pulled through by fusing for good with Nami's weapon. He aided in felling Ulti, turned down a return to servitude in favor of partnership, and fought on beside Nami against opponents such as S-Shark, Jaygarcia Saturn, Road, and the Knight of God Gunko, even outlasting a swallowing by Killingham's beast on Elbaph.
