Fasha, known as Seripa in the Japanese version, is one of the few named female Saiyan warriors in Dragon Ball. She served on Bardock's elite squad and was among the team members ambushed and killed by Dodoria's forces under Frieza's orders, as part of the tyrant's plan to eliminate the Saiyan race.
Fasha was a member of Bardock's squad, a small team of low-class Saiyan warriors who carried out planetary conquest missions on behalf of Frieza's organization. She was the only female member of the group and held her own alongside her male counterparts, demonstrating the combat ability expected of any Saiyan soldier. Her comrades included Tora, Borgos, and Shugesh, and together the squad successfully conquered multiple planets.
After completing a mission on Planet Kanassa, Fasha and the rest of the squad (minus Bardock, who was recovering from injuries) were recalled to a location where Frieza's soldiers, led by Dodoria, were waiting to ambush them. The entire squad was overwhelmed and killed, a preemptive strike by Frieza to begin eliminating the Saiyans before his planned destruction of Planet Vegeta. When Bardock arrived and found his fallen comrades, Fasha was the one who, with her dying breath, warned him that Frieza was behind the attack.
This final act gave Bardock the information he needed to understand the scope of Frieza's betrayal, though it was ultimately not enough to change the outcome. Fasha's death, alongside those of her teammates, served as the emotional catalyst for Bardock's desperate solo assault on Frieza, a suicidal charge that ended with the destruction of Planet Vegeta and the near-total extinction of the Saiyan race.
Fasha occupies an important position in Dragon Ball lore as one of the earliest depictions of a female Saiyan warrior. Her presence on Bardock's squad established that female Saiyans fought alongside males as equals in combat, a detail that would later be echoed by characters like Gine, Caulifla, and Kale. Though her screen time is limited, her role in the Bardock special gives her story emotional weight that transcends her brief appearance.
