Linda Chambers-Young is an American voice actress from Milwaukee, Wisconsin best known for voicing the ruthless tyrant Frieza and the mysterious Fortuneteller Baba throughout the Dragon Ball franchise.
Young is renowned for voicing Frieza, the terrifying galactic emperor, across Dragon Ball Z and numerous films and video games including Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. She also voiced Fortuneteller Baba throughout the original Dragon Ball series, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. Her portrayal of Frieza became iconic, defining the character's English voice for a generation of fans. She voiced Frieza in the first episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi before being replaced by Chris Ayres in subsequent appearances.
