Good Buu Breaks Free

The confrontation between Mr. Satan and Kid Buu takes an unexpected turn when the pink terror begins writhing in agony and spits out Good Buu. Dende realizes that Good Buu's bond of friendship with Mr. Satan had been restraining Kid Buu from within, holding back the creature's full malice. Now purged of that influence, Kid Buu attacks Mr. Satan without hesitation, only for Good Buu to awaken just in time to save his friend from certain death.

Good Buu throws himself into battle against his evil counterpart, but the difference in power is staggering. Meanwhile, Goku discovers that his Super Saiyan 3 transformation is consuming his energy far too rapidly. Unable to sustain the form, he reverts to his base state, leaving both him and Vegeta horrified at their dwindling options against an opponent who simply will not stay down.

Vegeta's Desperate Gambit

In a flash of inspiration, Vegeta formulates a plan and reaches out to Dende telepathically through King Kai. He instructs Dende to travel to New Namek and gather the Dragon Balls there. Kibito Kai and Old Kai transport Dende to the planet, where the Namekians already have all seven orbs assembled. Once Porunga is summoned, Vegeta presents his two wishes: restore the Earth to its original, undamaged state, and revive everyone who died since the World Martial Arts Tournament began, excluding the most wicked souls.

The Spirit Bomb Revealed

Both wishes are granted in swift succession, and among those brought back to life is Vegeta himself, proving once and for all that he is no longer the villain he once was. With the Earth restored and its people alive again, Vegeta finally unveils the centerpiece of his strategy: the Super Spirit Bomb, the only attack with enough collective power to destroy Kid Buu for good.
