Android 18 battles Super Saiyan Vegeta and defeats him with alarming ease. When Future Trunks, Piccolo, and Tien attempt to intervene, Android 17 swiftly dispatches them all. Before departing, Android 18 leaves Krillin with an unexpected kiss.
Android 18 and Super Saiyan Vegeta clash on the open highway, and from the very first exchange of blows, it becomes clear that the android holds a decisive advantage. Vegeta throws everything he has at her, landing powerful combinations that would devastate any normal opponent, but Android 18 absorbs the punishment without showing any visible signs of fatigue or damage. Her energy supply is limitless, her durability beyond anything Vegeta has encountered since his battles on Namek against Frieza in his final form.
As the fight progresses, Vegeta grows increasingly frustrated by his inability to gain ground. His attacks become more reckless, his defensive openings wider and more exploitable. Android 18 capitalizes on each one, countering with precise strikes that chip away at the Saiyan prince's stamina with surgical efficiency. At one point, the battle spills onto a busy highway, where a delivery truck drives directly between the combatants. Vegeta destroys the vehicle without a second thought. But even these displays of raw destructive power cannot mask the truth that is becoming painfully obvious to every spectator watching from the surrounding hills: he is losing badly. Android 18 delivers a devastating blow that shatters Vegeta's arm, and the proud warrior crumples to the ground in agony, his legendary pride broken along with his bones.
Seeing his father fall, Future Trunks powers up and charges into the fray, sword drawn. Android 18 deflects his attacks with casual ease, and the blade that once cleaved Frieza in two proves useless against her armored frame. Piccolo and Tien Shinhan join the assault, engaging Android 17 in a desperate attempt to turn the tide. But 17 handles them both simultaneously, overpowering the Namekian warrior and the seasoned martial artist without breaking a sweat.
One by one, the Z Fighters fall. The androids are simply in another league, possessing both limitless energy and combat strength that outstrips every warrior present.
With every fighter beaten and sprawled across the battlefield, only Krillin remains standing, though he made no attempt to engage. He watches in helpless horror as his friends lie defeated around him. The androids gather together and prepare to leave, their mission to find Goku still driving them forward.
Before walking away, Android 18 pauses in front of Krillin. Without a word of explanation, she leans down and plants a gentle kiss on his cheek, leaving the short warrior frozen in stunned silence. The three androids then depart, heading off to continue their search for Goku.
