Appearance

Code is a lean, gangling young man with a mop of unruly curly auburn hair and large green eyes, coloured purple in the anime. A band-like Claw Mark wraps his scalp and face, running diagonally from over one eye to beneath the other and masking old scars, while the Roman numeral six sits inked below his right eye. Matching marks lie hidden beneath the sleeves of both arms. His fashion carries a Victorian air, all cravats, waistcoats, a high-collared Kara cloak lined in lavender, and mismatched earrings, and his failed vessel status shows as a white, diamond-shaped Kāma on his left palm.

Once Amado strips away his limiters, his hair and lashes bleach white and sweep upward, his nails darken, and his eyes turn red with defined pupils and rings, paired now with a darker, near-vampiric wardrobe. Years afterward his look grows more Dracula-like still: Sasuke's blade leaves a vertical scar sealing his left eye shut, and a clash with Jura costs him his right hand, a stump he wraps in Claw Marks and later tips with curved blades.

Personality

Arrogant and quick to mock, Code carries a vindictive streak that has him openly cataloguing the people he intends to kill. His defining trait is fanatical worship of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki and the wider clan, whom he hails as gods even while fully aware that they annihilate worlds for their own gain. He once yearned to become a vessel despite knowing it would erase him, and his failure at that curdled into lasting resentment of Kawaki, the boy who succeeded where he could not. That loyalty made him strangely docile, accepting the limiters bolted into his body without protest. Isshiki's death lit a vow of vengeance in him along with a mission to ascend into an Ōtsutsuki himself.

For all his menace he can be lazy, once dozing off on guard duty over the Ten-Tails, and his zealous pride repeatedly betrays him. He badly underrates stronger foes such as Daemon, Kawaki, Boruto, and Jura, never absorbs the lesson from his humiliations, and his fanaticism ultimately drives Ada and Daemon to walk away from their pact with him.

Abilities

Rebuilt by Amado with Scientific Ninja Tools and strands of Shibai Ōtsutsuki's DNA, Code is a monster whose unshackled power eclipses even Jigen's. Restrained by limiters he still outmatches fellow Inners like Delta and Boro, rivals Koji Kashin, and by Amado's estimate could overpower a Seventh Hokage stripped of the Nine-Tails. His body doubles as a weapon, its fingers sharpening into talons that shear through flesh, and only Amado can release the limiters holding his true strength in check.

His signature art is a shinjutsu drawn from Shibai's cells: by blending chakra with his own blood he spawns the black Claw Marks that stripe his face and arms. Each mark clings to whatever it touches and works as a portal, letting him step through partially or wholly to strike from anywhere a mark has landed. As a surviving failed vessel he also bears a White Kāma that channels Isshiki's raw power, though it cannot absorb techniques; given time, it is meant to remake him into a complete Ōtsutsuki. Beyond brute force he proves cautious and calculating, seeding Claw Marks across all five great villages as decoys to stretch their defences thin, recruiting Ada for intelligence, and using his command of the Kāma and the Ten-Tails to tear the beast's flesh into an army of humanoid Claw Grime.
