Two Become One

The discovery of the shed exoskeleton and the duplicate time machine has convinced everyone that a hidden menace predates the android crisis entirely. Gohan and Future Trunks return to Kame House with news of their disturbing findings, while television broadcasts report mass disappearances in Gingertown. Entire city blocks have been emptied overnight, with nothing left behind except piles of clothing where people once stood. The images are deeply unsettling: a bustling city reduced to a ghost town in a matter of hours, with no sign of violence or struggle.

On the Lookout, Kami watches the carnage unfold through his cosmic awareness and can no longer justify inaction. He agrees to merge with Piccolo, fully aware that this will end his existence as a separate being and render the Dragon Balls permanently inert. The sacrifice is enormous, but the alternative is allowing an unknown monster to continue consuming the population unchecked. The two Namekians face each other and begin the ancient ritual. As their bodies combine, an enormous surge of energy radiates outward across the planet. Piccolo emerges transformed, declaring that he is no longer Kami or Piccolo but a Namekian who has long since forgotten his original name. His power dwarfs anything he possessed before the fusion.

The Ghost Town

Without wasting a moment, the newly empowered Namekian departs the Lookout and rockets toward Gingertown at tremendous speed. He arrives to find the city eerily silent. Streets that should be bustling with life are completely deserted. Cars sit abandoned at intersections. Shops stand open with no one inside. The only remnants of the population are heaps of empty clothing scattered across sidewalks and storefronts, as though the people wearing them simply dissolved.

Piccolo walks cautiously through the desolate streets, senses fully extended, searching for whatever force is responsible for this horror.

The Monster Revealed

From the shadows of an alleyway, a figure emerges. It is a tall, insectoid creature with mottled green skin, a long segmented tail, and an aura that radiates multiple familiar energies. Piccolo can sense traces of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and even his own ki signature emanating from this being. The monster steps into the light, dragging a half-conscious civilian whose life force it is actively draining through its tail.

The two warriors lock eyes in the deserted city street. Piccolo has found the source of Gingertown's nightmare, and the real battle for Earth's survival is about to begin.
