The Price of Love

Android 17 continues trying to bring Android 18 under his control, but Krillin steps between them. He reminds 17 of the truth: that 18 has a family now, and that 17 once hated Dr. Gero enough to destroy him. Before the words can fully land, Hell Fighter 17's signal reasserts control, and Android 17 kills Krillin without hesitation.

The shock snaps 18 free of any influence, and she attacks her brother in a rage. When 17 targets their daughter Marron to regain leverage, 18 shields the child and takes a devastating blast. Android 17 flies away to complete his fusion, and 18 crawls to Krillin's body, whispering her final words of love to her husband.

Ice Against the Living

In Hell, Cell and Frieza taunt the frozen Goku, but the ice begins to crack. Because the ice was created by the dead, it holds no power over a living person. Goku turns the ice machine against his tormentors, encasing both villains in solid blocks before accidentally shattering them.

Back on Earth, Majuub, Goten, and Trunks arrive to rescue Gohan from General Rilldo and destroy the metal general with a combined attack. Pan appears with Mr. Satan and Giru, who thaws Gohan's frozen limbs. The group sets off to find Vegeta, who has been holding off Hell Fighter 17 alone.

The Birth of Super 17

The real Android 17 arrives and merges with Hell Fighter 17, forming Super 17. The newly fused android powers up, and every Z Fighter who charges in is knocked aside with a single blow. Vegeta, Majuub, Goten, Trunks, and Gohan all fall in rapid succession. Even their combined Super Saiyan transformations cannot withstand Super 17's Flash Bomber.

Watching through Hell's viewing glass, Goku begs King Yemma for help escaping, but the dimensional chaos has left Yemma powerless. Piccolo contacts Yemma from Heaven and requests a transfer to Hell. When Yemma refuses, Piccolo acts villainous enough to earn himself a one-way trip downward, apologizing before the sentence is carried out. Meanwhile, the Dragon Balls begin to crack, starting with the Four-Star Ball.
