The Incredible Fighting Candy

EpisodioEp. 272

Turned into a tiny candy by Super Buu's beam, Vegito shocks everyone by retaining all of his power and fighting ability. The miniature warrior pummels Buu in a comedic yet devastating assault. After Buu reverses the transformation out of sheer frustration, Vegito resumes his domination, only to be secretly absorbed by a severed piece of Buu's head tentacle.

The Jawbreaker Strikes Back

On the Grand Kai's Planet, Krillin panics at the sight of Vegito turned into candy. King Kai suggests sending Krillin and Yamcha as a backup team, but Krillin flatly refuses, pointing out that he has already been killed by the monster once. Meanwhile, Yamcha is blissfully unaware of the crisis, having just enjoyed a relaxing bath.

Back on Earth, Super Buu lifts the candy to his mouth, savoring his apparent victory. But before he can swallow, the tiny jawbreaker rockets out of his grip and punches Buu in his own face using Buu's fist. Candy Vegito still possesses every ounce of the fused warrior's power. He zips around at blinding speed, too small and fast for Buu to land a single hit on.

Back in the Flesh

The absurdity of being beaten by a piece of candy pushes Super Buu past his limit. Realizing the Candy Beam backfired spectacularly, he reverses the transformation and returns Vegito to his normal form. It is the only time Super Buu has ever willingly undone his own technique, and it accomplishes nothing. Vegito immediately resumes the beating.

The punishment is so severe that Buu struggles to regenerate. A gaping hole is blasted through his midsection, and though he eventually pulls himself together, the repair is slow and incomplete. Vegito announces he will count to ten and then finish the fight for good. As the count begins, genuine terror flashes across Super Buu's face.

The Tentacle's Secret

While Vegito counts, Buu spots something on the ground: a severed piece of his own head tentacle, still connected to his will. He focuses his mind on the fragment, and just as Vegito reaches ten, the pink mass springs upward and engulfs the fused Saiyan completely.

To the observers on the Sacred World of the Kai, it appears that their greatest champion has been swallowed by the very monster he was toying with. Episode 272 delivers one of the saga's wildest tonal shifts, moving from slapstick comedy to genuine suspense in the span of a single countdown. Whether Vegito has truly been absorbed, or whether this was part of his own plan, remains to be seen.
