Reborn for Battle

Goku has survived what fourteen warriors before him could not. Using the Power Pole, he vaults himself and Yajirobe out of the frozen labyrinth and back to the surface. Meanwhile, the world descends into chaos under Piccolo's decree of lawlessness. Criminals loot storefronts, gangs roam freely, and correctional facilities are overrun.

In Central City, Android 8 arrives searching for Suno. He finds her helping wounded civilians at a makeshift aid station. When a gang of thugs refuses to assist the injured, Eighter's imposing presence persuades them to cooperate. Across the globe, Piccolo's rule brings out the worst in humanity, with only scattered acts of decency pushing back against the tide.

Tien Shinhan finally masters the Evil Containment Wave after grueling solo training and takes to the air, heading for King Piccolo with a rice cooker and the determination to seal the demon or die trying. Back at Korin Tower, Goku can feel the new power coursing through him. More than raw strength, he has gained the ability to sense Piccolo's location without the Dragon Radar. Korin, recognizing that Goku is finally ready, presents him with a gift: a new Flying Nimbus cloud to replace the one Tambourine destroyed. Goku leaps aboard and races toward King Castle, setting the stage for the final confrontation.

Converging Forces

Goku's emergence from the ice labyrinth transforms him from a defeated child into a genuine threat. The Ultra Divine Water unlocked not just strength but also a rudimentary ability to sense energy, a skill that will define his fighting style for the rest of the series.

Tien and Goku are now both racing toward King Piccolo with completely different approaches. Tien carries the Evil Containment Wave, a technique that will kill the user. Goku carries raw power earned through surviving a lethal trial. The question is not just whether either can defeat Piccolo, but which of them will reach him first.

Setting the Stage

This episode closes the power-up arc and launches Goku toward the final battle. The new Flying Nimbus symbolizes a fresh start, replacing the cloud lost in the saga's darkest moment. Eighter and Suno's subplot grounds the global crisis in personal stakes, showing that ordinary people are suffering while the fighters prepare for war.
