When Vegeta's pleas fail to motivate Earth's citizens, Mr. Satan steps in and does what no Saiyan could: he convinces the entire planet to raise their hands and share energy. Familiar faces from across Dragon Ball history contribute, and the Spirit Bomb finally reaches full power. Goku prepares to launch humanity's greatest collective weapon.
Earth's population remains stubbornly unmoved by Vegeta's telepathic demands. A few individuals raise their hands after hearing Goku's voice, but the vast majority dismiss the entire affair as a hoax. Vegeta, seething with frustration, listens as some citizens even recall his rampage under Babidi's control and refuse to trust him.
Scattered across the globe, familiar faces from Goku's past begin contributing. Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu offer their energy after recognizing Goku's voice. Android 17, working as a park ranger in the wilderness, tricks a group of poachers into raising their hands. Korin and Yajirobe contribute from their tower. But these small donations are nowhere near enough.
On the Sacred World of the Kai, the situation grows critical. Good Buu is being demolished by Kid Buu, pinned to the ground under a crushing energy sphere. Vegeta takes another beating trying to buy Goku time. The Spirit Bomb hovers overhead, large but woefully insufficient.
Then Mr. Satan does the one thing he was born to do. He grabs the telepathic link and addresses the people of Earth directly, claiming to be the one fighting the monster. The citizens who ignored a mysterious alien voice instantly rally behind their beloved champion. Across every city, village, and countryside, billions of hands rise skyward. Energy floods into the Spirit Bomb from every corner of the planet.
The Spirit Bomb swells to enormous proportions as the energy of an entire civilization pours in. Old friends who once fought alongside Goku in the original Dragon Ball lend their strength: Upa and Bora from the Sacred Land of Korin, Android 8 from Jingle Village, Nam from his desert home, and even old tournament rivals like Giran and Spike the Devil Man. King Furry raises his hand from Central City's castle.
Piccolo watches Mr. Satan with grudging admiration, acknowledging that the loudmouthed showman accomplished what none of them could. The Spirit Bomb is finally complete, blazing with the collected will of billions. Goku steadies himself, ready to hurl humanity's last hope at the ancient terror that threatens everything they hold dear.
