Final Judgement? The Ultimate Power of an Absolute God

Fused Zamasu's arrival is catastrophic. A halo of pure energy forms behind him, and his attacks blanket the entire region, creating lightning storms, shockwaves, and explosions that damage the resistance base and endanger the surviving civilians. Vegeta orders Future Trunks to protect Bulma and Future Mai while he and Goku face the fused god directly. Despite their Super Saiyan Blue forms, the two Saiyans are systematically outclassed. Fused Zamasu creates energy silhouettes and lightning blasts that knock Vegeta and Goku down repeatedly. After one devastating assault, both are left beaten and unconscious on the ground.

While the world literally crumbles around them, Fused Zamasu continues his rampage, triggering natural disasters across the planet. Future Trunks rescues civilians, including the young girl Maki, and directs Future Yajirobe to lead survivors to Bulma's nearby garage. When Goku and Vegeta recover, they charge again, breaking through Fused Zamasu's Wall of Light, but he catches both their fists and shatters their arms. Future Trunks, enraged at seeing his father and Goku broken, transforms into Super Saiyan Rage and attacks, clashing swords with Fused Zamasu's energy blades.

Overpowered but unwilling to surrender, Future Trunks fires a Galick Gun, channeling everything he has into the blast. Vegeta rises and adds his own Galick Gun alongside his son's, a combined father-son attack that pushes Fused Zamasu back. The blast connects, but Fused Zamasu only grows angrier. When he retaliates, Vegeta throws himself into the attack to shield Future Trunks, going down to protect his son. Goku then intercepts Fused Zamasu's Holy Wrath with a God Kamehameha, and the episode ends with the two beams locked in a massive energy clash.

The combined Galick Gun between Vegeta and Future Trunks is the emotional centerpiece of the episode. Throughout the Future Trunks Saga, Vegeta has gradually shown more open affection for his son from another timeline. Here, he physically places himself between Fused Zamasu's attack and his son without hesitation. This is the same Vegeta who once let Cell achieve his perfect form out of pride. The character growth is unmistakable. The Galick Gun itself is symbolically fitting, as it is Vegeta's signature technique, passed down in this moment as a father's legacy.

Episode 65 pushes every character to their absolute limit. The civilian casualties, the destroyed landscape, and the heroes' broken bodies create a sense of genuine desperation that is rare even in Dragon Ball. Fused Zamasu's power is presented not as impressive but as terrifying, an extinction-level force that treats both Saiyans and ordinary humans as equally disposable. The episode uses Dragon Ball Z Kai's soundtrack for the first time as a recurring choice, underlining the escalation to a Z-era level of apocalyptic stakes.
