The Tyrant's True Colors

While Goku battles Ribrianne elsewhere on the stage, Frieza observes the tournament from a high vantage point, selecting his next target. When Gohan struggles against Jimizu, a Universe 2 warrior capable of Instant Transmission, Frieza intervenes. Rather than helping immediately, he taunts Gohan for his weakness, then steps aside to watch the Saiyan struggle further before "accidentally" striking Jimizu.

Frieza dismantles Jimizu with cold precision. He reads the Instant Transmission user's movements with ease, catches him with his tail, and brutally beats him before blasting him off the stage. Universe 2 accuses Frieza of killing their fighter, though the tyrant notes he deliberately missed the vital areas. The display is so savage that even the Goddess of Destruction Heles expresses open disgust.

Frost approaches Frieza after the fight, and the two form an apparent alliance based on their mutual hatred of Saiyans. When they turn on Gohan together, Frieza attacks first, knocking the young Saiyan unconscious with Golden Frieza's overwhelming power. But when Frost tries to replicate Frieza's 100% Full Power form, Frieza reveals the alliance was a ruse all along. He blasts Frost off the stage, and Gohan rises, having understood from Frieza's deliberately weakened first punch that the whole scenario was staged. When Frost attempts to retaliate from the spectator stands, both Zenos erase him on the spot for breaking the rules.

Trust as a Weapon

Frieza's manipulation of Frost is a masterclass in psychological warfare. By offering what Frost desperately wanted, validation from a more powerful version of himself and the promise of greater strength, Frieza exploited ambition as a vulnerability. The lesson "never trust anyone" is delivered with the cruelty of someone who has lived by that principle his entire life.

Gohan's role as the silent accomplice adds a fascinating layer. His willingness to endure genuine blows, trusting only in the nuance of that first weakened punch, shows a maturity that contrasts with his father's straightforward approach to combat.

Erasure Sets the Stakes

Frost's erasure marks the first time a competitor is destroyed for a rule violation during the tournament. This moment sharply reminds every universe that the Omni-Kings enforce absolute authority. Champa's panicked apology shows that even Gods of Destruction fear their judgment.

With 29 minutes remaining, Frieza quietly reveals his ambition to use the Super Dragon Balls to control the gods, ensuring that Universe 7's internal dynamics remain volatile even if the team survives.
