Super Buu screams so hard he tears a hole through the dimensional barrier and escapes the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, leaving Piccolo and Gotenks trapped inside. He turns everyone remaining on the Lookout into chocolate and devours them all. Gotenks achieves Super Saiyan 3 for the first time and blasts his own way out of the void.
Gotenks rages at Piccolo for destroying the exit, revealing that he had a finishing move capable of defeating Super Buu. Super Buu realizes with horror that he will never eat candy again. His fury builds into an ear-splitting scream so powerful it tears a hole through the dimensional fabric of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber itself.
Buu squeezes through the rift and escapes, but the hole seals shut before Piccolo or Gotenks can follow. On the Lookout, Mr. Popo solemnly explains to the others that Piccolo destroyed the door and the fighters are trapped inside. Bulma berates everyone for letting the boys go in there to begin with.
Super Buu emerges on the Lookout ravenously hungry. Krillin makes a brave but futile last stand, charging Buu while Android 18 tries to evacuate everyone else. Buu transforms Krillin into chocolate and eats him, then does the same to Android 18 and Marron. One by one, every person on the Lookout is turned into candy and consumed.
Only Dende survives, saved by Mr. Popo, who throws the young Guardian off the edge of the Lookout before being transformed himself. Goku senses the catastrophe from the Sacred World of the Kai and struggles to hide his anguish from Gohan, who is still completing his power-up ritual.
Trapped in the empty white expanse, Piccolo and Gotenks attempt to replicate Buu's dimensional scream but fail repeatedly. Gotenks finally stops holding back. He powers up through Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2, then pushes beyond into Super Saiyan 3 for the first time. Piccolo is staggered by the sheer power radiating from a child's fused body.
Gotenks unleashes a concentrated scream that rips open a new portal. He and Piccolo burst through to find Super Buu sitting on the ruined Lookout, casually snacking on chocolate. When Piccolo asks where everyone went, Buu pats his stomach. Gotenks' eyes fill with fury as he prepares for a rematch at his absolute peak.
