Mitsuki

From his parent Mitsuki inherits a pale complexion, and he has messy white-blue hair, slender brows, and golden eyes; the girls in his class think him quite handsome. His usual dress is a loose two-toned kimono shirt in light and dark blue, its sleeves long and flowing and cinched by a thick khaki-grey belt over navy pants, worn with calf-high shinobi sandals and long black fingerless gloves, and once he becomes a ninja a black Leaf headband joins them. Three years after Boruto departs the village, his hair grows out longer and more tangled, and he switches to dark robes with overlong sleeves fastened left over right, tall pale boots, and twin waist belts linked to a light pouch.

Mitsuki comes across as composed and matter-of-fact, usually upbeat or else unbothered by whatever is unfolding around him. Quick-minded, widely read, and observant, he speaks freely and moves at his own tempo. Beneath that calm sits real unease about what he is: raised from a test tube as a modified copy of Orochimaru and meant one day to break away and choose his own road, he wonders whether his decisions are genuinely his, and hopes that bonding with new people will prove that he exists. He values Boruto's view above almost anyone's and comes to see him as his personal sun; he treasures his squadmates Boruto and Sarada and races to their side whenever they are in trouble, yet fights without mercy, ready to kill. A minimalist whose home holds only essentials and a handful of photos, he takes in a stray cat and calls it Mikazuki, and gradually learns to feel affection and other emotions that once struck him as foreign.

Sprung from Orochimaru's cells, Mitsuki counts among the most gifted shinobi of his age group, and his maker claims the boy outstrips even himself. For someone so young his chakra pool is immense, ample to power Sage Mode, while his taijutsu runs fluid and graceful, leaning on holds and choke-outs as he threads past a guard like a serpent. His trademark Soft Physique Modification stretches and warps his body into improvised weapons or through cramped gaps, and he calls up venomous snakes for the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, for scouting and relaying messages, and for hunting by scent. He handles Wind and Lightning Release, works as a capable sensor and sealer, and dabbles in medical and curse arts. His engineered frame seals minor wounds in seconds, regrows severed limbs, needs no food or drink, hardens its nails into claws, and picks up infrared and low-frequency sound. Rarest of all is his Sage Transformation, which sprouts a lone horn at his brow and wraps him in a cyan shroud that conjures ethereal snakes to grab and bite; fearing it would cost him his place in Konoha, he hides it through the Chunin Exams and reveals it only to protect his friends.
